Ahrar’s mission is to facilitate both public and private conversations. Violence, harassment, and similar behaviours not only discourage individuals from expressing themselves but also detract from the quality of global public discourse. Our rules are designed to foster an environment where everyone can engage in public conversation freely and securely.
1. Violent Speech: You must refrain from threatening, inciting, glorifying, or expressing a desire for violence or harm.
2. Violent & Hateful Entities: Affiliation with or promotion of violent and hateful entities is prohibited.
3. Child Sexual Exploitation: Ahrar has a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual exploitation.
4. Abuse/Harassment: Sharing abusive content, engaging in targeted harassment, or inciting others to do so is not permitted.
5. Hateful Conduct: Attacking individuals based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease is prohibited.
6. Perpetrators of Violent Attacks: Accounts maintained by individual perpetrators of terrorist, violent extremist, or mass violent attacks will be removed. Posts disseminating manifestos or content produced by perpetrators may also be removed.
7. Suicide: Promotion or encouragement of suicide or self-harm is not allowed.
8. Sensitive Media: Posting excessively gory, violent, or adult content, including sexual violence and assault, is prohibited. This applies to live videos, profile images, and header images.
9. Illegal or Regulated Goods/Services: Use of our service for unlawful purposes or to facilitate illegal activities, including transactions involving illegal or certain regulated goods/services, is not allowed.
1. Private Information: Publishing or posting other people’s private information without their express authorisation is prohibited. Threatening to expose private information or incentivising others to do so is also prohibited.
2. Non-Consensual Nudity: Posting or sharing intimate photos or videos of someone without their consent is not permitted.
3. Account Compromise: Unauthorised access, modification, or use of others’ private information or account features is prohibited.
1. Platform Manipulation and Spam: Avoid using Ahrar’s services to artificially amplify or suppress information, or engage in behavior that manipulates or disrupts users’ experience.
2. Civic Integrity: Do not use Ahrar’s services to manipulate or interfere in elections or other civic processes.
3. Misleading and Deceptive Identities: Impersonating individuals, groups, or organisations to mislead, confuse, or deceive others is prohibited.
4. Synthetic and Manipulated Media: Sharing deceptive synthetic or manipulated media likely to cause harm is not allowed. Posts containing such media may be labeled to provide context.
5. Copyright and Trademark: Respect others’ intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark.
Third-party Advertising in Video Content: You may not include third-party advertising, such as pre-roll video ads or sponsorship graphics, in video content on Ahrar’s services without prior consent.
